CARE

Explore our care recommendations to keep your jewelry in its best condition.

ESSENTIALS
Made to last. Made to be worn.

Gold and silver are precious materials, but both naturally change over time. With a little care, your piece can retain its finish, form and character for years to come.

Everyday care
How can I extend the life of my jewelry?

To keep your NIJUSHI piece in its best condition, avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals. Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising. When not in use, store it in a dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to help prevent scratches and tarnishing. Clean gently with a soft, non-abrasive cloth to maintain its finish.

MATERIALS
585 Gold

Our gold pieces are made from 585 gold, containing 58.5% pure gold. Gold is resistant to tarnishing, but the surface can still develop fine scratches and signs of wear over time.

925 Silver

Our silver pieces are made from 925 sterling silver, containing 92.5% pure silver. Silver naturally reacts with air, moisture and certain substances, which can cause it to darken or develop a patina over time. This is a natural characteristic of silver, not a defect.

Cleaning
HOW TO?

Gently clean your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth. For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cloths, polishing compounds or aggressive jewelry cleaners unless specifically recommended for your piece.

Wear & aging
Over time

We believe jewelry should live with you. Small marks, changes in polish and natural patina are part of the life of a piece. They are not imperfections, but traces of how it has been worn.

If you wish to restore the original finish, professional cleaning and polishing can bring the piece back to its original appearance.
